Utah Living

The University of Utah resides in one of the world’s foremost outdoor wonderlands.

The campus is just steps away from miles of amazing mountain biking and hiking trails and is a 35-minute drive to six of the world’s most renown ski resorts. Also within a few hours drive are the “Mighty Big 5” national parks (Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion) and thousands of square miles of public lands to explore.

In addition to these natural wonders, Salt Lake City is home to cultural activities.

Here you will find the Sundance Film Festival, Museum of Contemporary Art, Ballet West, and the Museum of Natural History. Salt Lake also offers a vibrant city life, including hip bars and coffee shops, and a burgeoning “foodie scene.” The city is regularly ranked among the top places to live in the United States, and boasts an increasingly multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic population.
